Château Purcari is in the village of Purcari, Ștefan Vodă district, in the vineyard country of the south-east, a few kilometres from the Dniester. It is Moldova's best-known winery and, for some years now, a full tourist complex. Besides the accommodation, there is a restaurant, guided tours of the winery and event spaces. Parking is free, and the entrance and parking spaces are adapted for wheelchair access. If you are following the wine route in the south, it is the natural starting point — a tasting in the evening, the road to the Dniester the next day.
