Vinăria Romănești, also known by the company name Basvinex, is in the village of Romănești, in the hilly Codru area of central Moldova. The name of the village is one of the weightier ones in the winegrowing history of the region, and the surrounding vineyards are part of the area's classic landscape. The winery has no published hours and no website of its own, and the small number of recorded visitors indicates a producer who receives guests selectively, by prior arrangement.
